Seriously? How did you manage to pull yourself away from this place? It is amazing!

respect all stock artists for they give you good things you probably don't deserve--

It was one of those showery/sunny autumnal days - great for taking photos on!
:icongothicbohemianstock:
Thank you for all the comments! Lol, what you don't see in the photos in the sheer volume of people who were also visiting the castle - when a coach load of children arrived for a halloween hunt around the grounds I decided it was time to go, but it was certainly a lovely place to visit. There was also a stately home set on a hill behind this part of the estate (the castle was deliberately 'ruined' and turned into something of a folly by the Victorians set in the parkland belonging to the house) but unfortunately most of it was under scaffolding so I didn't get to take many photos of it.

Well the ones you did take were fabulous! I actually suggested one of them to :iconhanratty-stock: for a DD!

Awww thank you so much for saying so! I'm not a particularly good photographer, more an enthusiastic 'dabbler' so I'm honoured that you think one of them deserves a DD.

Well last night when I replied I didn't look to see which comment you responded to. It was actually this shot. I :love:it. Beside the whole picture telling a story, there are so many individual elements that would be perfect for many manipulators out there.

Yes, it's probably one of my favourites also - to the right of the picture was a wonderful small bridge which would really have completed the whole composition - but there were a lot of people standing on the bridge, so I decided against including it lol.
:iconnhuval-stock:
That would have been really nice. I hate it when you can't get the shot you want cause of too many people in the way :shakefist:

Lol, yes! I moan and groan about 'tourists' all getting in my way, quite forgetting I'm one myself and probably spoiling some other photographers shot!!!
